The Impact of Communication Barriers on Employee Productivity in Change Management Processes

This paper examines the impact of communication barriers on employee productivity in the context of change management. Change management is essential for modern organizations operating in rapidly changing environments, where effective communication among employees is critical.

Communication obstacles — such as lack of information, misinterpretation, and hierarchical barriers — negatively affect the perception and implementation of changes. These issues reduce productivity, cause conflicts, increase resistance, and ultimately impair the organization’s goals and overall efficiency.
